The input company Sipcam Nichino from Japan will debut in the seed treatment market in May with a new digital platform named Seed Pro, as reported by “Globo Rural”. The company has been established in Brazil for 40 years.

The company will focus its seed treatment efforts mainly on soybeans. In its initial introduction to the Brazilian market, the business will offer products like fungicides and biostimulants that have already been created by the company, with pricing details yet to be disclosed.

The marketing manager of the company, Souza Monção, mentioned to “Globo Rural” that the tool will serve as a support system for farmers, aiding them in planning the protection of their soybean seeds. Additionally, the company plans to expand its services to include peanuts and wheat.

Sipcam Nichino was established in 1979 through the merger of the Italian company Sipcam, which focused on post-patent agrochemicals since 1946, and the Japanese company Nihon Nohyaku (Nichino), Japan’s initial agrochemical firm founded in 1928.

AgroGalaxy (AGXY3) intends to consolidate activities on B3.

AgroGalaxy (AGXY3), which is undergoing judicial recovery, intends to consolidate activities on B3 to ensure that its shares are traded above R $ 1.00, as disclosed by the company on Friday (28). The plan will be put to a vote by shareholders on 3 April, as indicated in the company’s announcement.

If the proposal is accepted, one share of the company will be worth the same as 15 shares. The company stated that implementing this consolidation will lead to a more balanced and just stock market in line with B3 regulations.

The consolidation will decrease AgroGalaxy’s shares from 254.5 million to 16.97 million, maintaining the company’s total value. Shareholders will be provided at least 30 days to adjust their positions by buying or selling shares to prevent any loss.

Shareholders with a number of shares that is not a multiple of 15 will have their remaining fractions sold in auctions by B3, with the collected value distributed proportionally.
