Banker Roberto Egydio Setubal, a co-owner and co-president of Banco Itaú’s Board of Directors, filed a report against his ex-wife, Daniela Fagundes, accusing her of insult, threat, and aggression.
The event took place last Tuesday night at the 14th Police District in Pinheiros, São Paulo, according to “See”. This marks the second time Setubal has reported his ex-wife since their separation in December last year.
The banker stated that he was at a Fasano hotel room in the Itaim Bibi neighborhood in São Paulo when he got a message saying that Daniela was coming to deliver their one-year-old daughter.
Setubal informed the police that he went down to the lobby to pick up his daughter. Despite having the child with him, he alleged that Daniela attacked him with slaps, kicks, and knees out of jealousy, as per the banker’s statement.
Itaú’s successor mentioned that his former wife threatened him and his current partner, stating that he would not have access to his daughter.
Setubal also noted that at the event, the hotel staff provided water to both individuals, but Daniela’s reaction to their gesture caused irritation as she reportedly almost threw the can at them.
The banker pointed out that other hotel employees observed the incident, and it was captured by the security cameras in the area.
The police guided Setubal to file a criminal complaint against Daniela within six months.
The banker stated that there is a safety measure in place that prohibits Daniela from coming within 500 meters of him unless she is with her daughter.

Daniela Fagundes took to social media on Tuesday (4) to share that she was betrayed and has been threatened by the husband of a woman she was reportedly involved with.
The ex-wife of the billionaire heir of Itaú posted pictures of her ex-husband looking at photos of another woman on his phone, with the caption: “This is the true Roberto Setubal! Many people have been asking me why my marriage ended, and today I will reveal the truth,” she stated.
Daniela revealed that she felt betrayed by prostitutes and also named a person she believed was a lover of Setubal.
She explained that she distanced herself because she was married to a repulsive man who cheated on her with two prostitutes, an art seller named Michele from the Dan Gallery who was also married with a young son.

Roberto Setúbal and Daniela began dating in 2020 when the banker purchased a property from Daniela, who was working as a real estate agent at the time.
The couple welcomed a daughter in late 2023, but their relationship ended in December 2024. The controversy surrounding their breakup surfaced when Daniela posted videos on social media on Tuesday (4). In one of the videos, she expressed her excitement and revealed that she was facing threats from the ex-husband of a woman who, she claimed, had an interest in Setúbal.
Daniela claimed that the man threatened her with reprisal for her ex-wife’s betrayal with the banker, stating that the couple’s one-year-old daughter would be the victim of that revenge.
She also shared a video showing Roberto Setúbal viewing and editing a provocative photo of a woman believed to be his potential romantic partner.
